They are bushwhackers and not trimmed. Tires and the fenders were the first mods I did on the jeep.

I was running their nitro sport shocks at the time and was pleased with the results and ride quality. I had a warn 8000 winch and a heavy steel bumper. here is a shot with the HD coils with bushwhackers and 33" tires.

Sweet setup. Did the no load coils make your jeep level or did you have some foward rake? Would the no load coils minus about a half an inch still give the suitable advantatages of a lift? I need the ultimate on/offroad jeep.

Nice. Here's mine next to a co workers. Flats give tons of room.

I never had an issue with rake and could not tell you for sure if it had rake or not with the no load but the ride was much better.

There's some OME info in the build thread in my sig -- note that it's a 2-door. The OME trim spacers are good for adjusting height, or to compensate for added weight.

A thought on the rake, naturally the back end squats down as weight increases on the rear axle. The spring rate on mine is 320 lbs per inch (both rear springs combined), which is stiffer than stock. Mine easily varies an inch in the back depending on cargo/passengers.

Cheers!

Thats interesting to know. Do you remember if the HD springs were OME 2615 front OME 2617 rear? These have the same spring rate as the LD OME 2626 front and OME 2630 rear, they are even exactly the same specs (weight, springrate, turns, thickness, etc..) but have between 0.5" to 1" greater freelength. Maybe since it gave you 3.5" lift the shocks were not working at optimal performance causing the stiffness?
