I do know in the past I've had to deal with ARB (OME parent company) in Seattle and they've been nothing but great (including the president who had emailed me personally after I had left comments on their website regarding a part I needed) Your golden either way, if in doubt ask David at Northridge for his opinion.
No worries all in fun

for all the love the OME is getting in this thread I find it hard to believe that Rokcy Road Outfitters has yet to be mentioned, their kits utilize OME parts, as well as their own, for very cheap, and (advertised) very good ride quality, on and off road. can anyone explain this?

I believe that some of their parts are spring spacers and they don't use OME shocks. IMO the OME shocks are the key to the ride quality.

I installed 3.5 BDS on my JK and the ride is near stock quality, if not better. I have not been on a jeep with EMU so I couldn't give you an honest comparison. BDS, as you have read offers a "no questions asked" warranty. The guy at the place I had the work done said he has been on jeeps with other brands of lifts/ shocks and he hands down picks BDS. Check out my photo album for a few pics.

I have the 3" BDS (w/ gas shocks) on mine, and love it. I've got just over 9k miles on it, and haven't had any problems at all. My JK is my DD, but I also wheel it pretty hard. I got just under 4" of lift with the BDS, and it rides great on and off road.

Like others here have said, the no fine print waranty is excellent, and so is the customer service.

I have heard that OME is a great set up also - I was considering it , but decided on the BDS.

Could be part of their problem is their lack of customer service, and R&D on their components. They may be one of the worst companies to deal with. They'll take your cash quick enough, but any support after that is a gamble. I know of several wheelers that are owed over a grand by RRO.
