Default Olympic Dave's Rack for JK

Anybody installed one of these yet?

https://www.quadratec.com/products/12130_930X_PG.htm

Trying to find install instructions to see what drilling is required.

That thing is pretty nice but you're looking at selling a left nut to pay for it

It is pretty awesome. My guess you'd have to drill the rear quarters for the support brace. The front looks like it uses the windshield bolts.

I think it looks like oversize, clunky, and doesn't fit the lines of the JK.
As far as the install goes, it comes with rear quarter corners that the rack supports attach to.

He had one on display at the Mega Meet. The legs on that thing were flimsy. He had a tent on that thing too. That was supposed to be one of his selling points. I weigh about 200 lbs and I wouldn't dare to sleep on that thing. I would probably shift in my sleep and it would collapse. It is a good idea but very weak.

looks like doo to me. There are a lot of of nicer racks in that price range. The Gobi isn't much more money. I dunno... its a neat idea, but looks like a dinky rattle trap.

It sure doesn't look very sturdy for 1200 clams.
