http://www.quadratec.com/products/13125_102.htm

When I got the kit I had a body shop paint to match the black disks for my silver jeep.

You can still see that something is there, but for $60 it was worth it. I'll post pictures soon...

But point is that now I don't deal with mirror issues.
I also opted for the same kit. My only complaint ( well 2 complaints) #1 the passenger side mirror is basically useless with doors on, and #2 they already need a paint job after 1 year and a winter. They are solid and do not vibrate, and the crappy paint job is an easy fix with a can of duplicolor or just like you did...

Would some rubber spacers or o-rings work (vibrate less)?

If they vibrate, add a stick-on circle/blind spot mirror. Those will not reflect the vibration, even if the main mirror is all over the place.

you know i have the lange ones and they whistled so i went and got silcone then they vibrated so i tightened up the phillips on the back but even after that they DO the one thing i want them to do and thats show me if there is a car in the lane im trying to get into. Maybe the car looks like its in an earthquake but i can still see them. They serve there purpose for me. But i didnt get the one that connects to the hinge i got the lange quick release 2's. They come witha bracket i think its better.

Ours don't vibrate. We sell the brackets and you use the OEM mirrors. I understand that doesn't work for everyone, but I wanted you to be aware of the option in case you weren't already.

They are narrower in width than the stock mirrors so do not give the best wide-angle views, but definitely the best choice I've found in both practical and cosmetic looks.

Thanks for the info... Sounds like most of these mirrors have some vibration.

I had purchased the same mirrors from Q-tech, and I do not like them at all either. They vibrate, the mirror looses the position you like. Overall their just pretty crappy mirrors.

But at least it allows me to take the doors off legal until I get around to getting something better.

They were cheap so I was fully expecting cheap mirrors, do I recommend them? not at all.

130 bucks for mirrors.

That are so many cheap options for this. I like my 5.99 mirror that screws into the windshield.
