Default OME 2" lift

I'm looking at getting the OME 2" lift with the adj. Track Bar----Will I need to buy new control arms (front & rear)?? This will go on a 08 4D Rubi.
Thanks
Walt

You won't need to, but if you find that it is to flighty you may want to get them later.

I was on a trip with somebody that had the OME lift with stock contol arms and he was happy with it's performance. He said he went with the OME beacause that was as much as he felt you could go and retain the stock arms.

If it feels a bit skittish to you a set of adjustable front lowers would probably be enough to fix it (leaving the other 6 arms alone).

I have the OME on a 4d Rubicon. I have the stock arms and the stock track bar and love it. It's about 95% of stock as far as steering and driving. If you go over 3", it's a little flighty on the highway. If you go with HD springs with no bumper/winch, you will get 3-3.5" of lift. Mine settled to about 2.25 to 2.5 with the winch and now it feels like stock again.

The key is set up your Jeep so you are sitting at the 2-2.5" mark. If you go HD on the springs but don't have the weight to push it down, your lift will be much more than 2".

This may be something you can do yourself. Save some creds too.
