OME 2" lift questions
I'm think that the 2" OME lift would be a good choice for my 2dr auto DD. Just wondering why the kit doesnt include sway bar end links. I'm running the TF coil Leveling kit and it is a shorter lift and requires them. Also If I read correctly it doesn't level out the rake. What do I need to level of the rack with this kit? If any of you 2dr guys are running this kit pics would be awsome.
I have a 4 door but...
The OME kit should come with additional spacers for the front to help with the rake problem.
Yes, you will need longer discos for the front as well. Alot of folks on the site get new front ones, and use the old fronts for the rear since they are longer than the stock rears.
I have the JKS adjustable front discos and they are nice and worth the $$.
You will be happy with the OME lift, I know after 30K miles I still am

OME lifts are basic. Coils and shocks, and maybe a trackbar bracket. If you want anything else, add it. Also consider which coils you are going with. There are a dozen different JK coils, with varying rates for both 2 and 4doors. As you go heavier, you go higher, so the extra components may become necessary. (caster correction, axle centering, brake lines, bumpstops, links, even driveshafts).
I just installed the 3" OME LT lift kit from Northridge. It includes JKS front and rear track bars, Tereflex lower control arms, OME springs and shocks, currie spring retainers, Tereflex front bump stop extensions, rear bump stops. Adj. Sway bar links (Rubicon) or sway bar disconnects for others. Great kit. I installed the new rear sway bar connects and reused the stock rear ones on the front. You have to drill out the sway bar to 1/2" to use the new disconnects and I didn't have a good 1/2 bit with me. The factory rear connects were the perfect height for the front. When I get time, I'll drill out and install the adjustable ones up front.
