Default OME or Bilstein shocks with OME 2"

I'm about to pull the trigger on a replacement lift for our Jeep. It has a 2-2.5" lift now with RE shocks, Skyjacker lowers & unknow black springs. It handles well, but is way too stiff on tar strips, washboard etc. Bang, Bang, Bang!
No heavy bumpers, 295/75-16's (at 28psi) with no plans to go bigger. The plan is the 616/617 springs but I'm concerned the OME shocks will be too mushy on road so I'm condsidering the Bilstein 5100's for the same total price. Opinions please?

Have OME's with my TF lift. They aren't mushy at all, they ride very nice.

You can't go wrong with ither brand.

If you want the best ride possible get a set of elka's.

I originally had the regular OME's, had one ruined when my POS JKS track bar Sheared on the street. Replaced with bilstein 5100's. Ride was horrible compared to the Emu's. Pulled them off after 3 months and replaced them with OME LT's.

Can't comment on the new OME Sports, but I didn't realize until I went to LT's that the original OME shocks really limited my droop. IMO LT's FTW!!!

I come from an F-150 background and Bilstiens have an excellent reputation among the stock, lowered and lifted guys. But years ago when we owned a ZJ a lot of guys loved the OME shocks.

I ran Bilsteins in my F150 > loved the ride, but also had OME's in my ZJ. Both ride great.
