Default Ome Hd Vs Bb's

I have read the write ups and a few other posts on these separately as well as compared; but never really got the answers I needed to make a decision.

Looking into getting the OME HD for my JK and was wondering, besides the obvious, what the pros and cons are of each the OME HD lift and the BB's. Are there any other "true" 2"- 2.5" suspension lifts out there besides OME.

Also, if there is anyone out there that could shed some light on the true height of the OME as I hear mixed reviews. Hearing 2"-3.5" with both stock and after market bumpers and oversize spare even though the company claims it to be 2". And did you need the OME levelers after the lift? Any rubbing with stock rims? I'm really just trying to clear 35's comfortably as well as to gain articulation, ground clearance, and capability. After the springs settle, will it still clear 35's comfortably with after market bumpers and over sized spare and rim? Also, what else will I need to purchase with the 4 door HD package?

Sorry if this has been covered but I just need a little help.

Thanks in advance.

I have the OME HD springs (shocks are on the way) and I love it. The height you will achieve depends on whether or not you install the HD or light load springs and the additional weight you put on your JK (bumpers, tire, winch, etc.). The light (or no) load springs should give you around 2-2.5" of lift and a very cushy ride. The HD springs will give you around 3.5-3.75" with no accessories and a slightly firmer ride. Either spring rate will allow you to run 35's. I chose the HD springs because I run a full size spare and will be running a winch in the near future. I got right at 3.75" of lift without any additional accessories. The full size spare only lowered the back by 1/8". I love the ride from the HD springs, it's soooo much better than stock. hard to describe, but softer over big, jolting bumps and firmer around corners and dips. Off road they are much softer than stock too.

Additionally, OME offers 2 different shocks, medium and firm. It really let's you customize your ride depending on your taste and weight of your JK.

You could always run a TF BB kit and only be out $225, but you definitely can't go wrong with the OME's either. Just a matter of $$ and what you want from your JK.

Have the RC BB and it is awesome. Can't beat it for the price, and NO rubbing issues with the stock wheels.

So if I go OME HD with 35's; then later after it settles get front bumper, winch, rear bumper with oversized tire holder ect; will I still be able to clear the 35's comfortably and still be able to pack down the Jeep? I guess this is my real question.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
