Default ome installed today

I installed my 2in. OME lift today and it looks pretty good and the ride seems to be real nice. Now for the bad, whoever said this is a 2-3 hr job I say BS. Also the panhard bar bracket is a piece of junk. The washer were to small for the bolts and the spacers would not fit. Now if this was a new item then I would say oh well they will get it worked out but I read of 2 other people who had to fix the same things I had trouble with. You can't tell me that a company like OME doesn't know there's a problem. As I said I really like the look and the ride, I haven't tried it on the trail yet but I'm very disappointed in the quality of the track bar bracket. I hope the rest is better made.

I know but it's a easy fix, just machine the spacer a 1/16 and made sure the washers are the right size. But I may be looking for a new bar from you before long.

Mine didn't come with a bracket. I ordered an adjustable track bar.

Yes, you are right, was the same with mine. But: adjustable trackbar is not the same in functionality, because of the higher angle ...

What size are those tires? They seem to be a good size for the lift.

I put in an OME lift a week ago on my JK. It took about 3 1/2 hours to get it done. I went with heavy front springs, TF adjustable front and rear track bars, and Currie front and rear sway bar links. Except for the sway bar links everything went wright in. The front links were some work because I had to cut 2" off the rods and drill out the mounting holes in the sway bar. A hand drill did not work for that, I pulled the bar and put it in my drill press to get that done.

They are 325/65/18 which are 13.5 wide. They don't rub because the 4.75 BS of the wheel seems to be just right.
