you have to remember they are 13.5 inch wide tires, and they really are that wide. if you put them on a narrow rim like an 8 or 9 inch rim, they will be a little bubly and hence ride taller

i also hope you are not planning on riding with these tires on the street, i once drove mine to the trail for about 50 miles, and it was hot outside(in the 90s) by the time i go to the trail, the compound was peeling off, these arent meant for street driving period

it sure sounds like you had a set of 37 red dot krawlers.
there are a couple guys i know with like 10 thousand miles on them
they will definatly not wear out in 50 miles.
red dots would.

no i had the 35 inch blue labels

the 35's only come in blue labels
im pretty sure BFG hasnt modified the compound in the blue labels
i never sead they wore out in 50 miles, i just said after 50 miles of continuous highway driving they were noticably wearing
much better tire options out there for double duty, the Krawler is not a street tire

if i remember correctly the 35 inch krawler on an 8 inch rim measured around a 35.5 inches on the ground with the full weight of the jeep at street pressure of 25psi
the same wheels with the same Jeep had 35 inch MT/r's and 35 inch KM's both of which measured 33.5-.6 inches, again this was 4 years ago so my numbers could by slightly off but not by much
i know someone on the forum had the 37 inch KM2's measured at 35.5 on the Jeep

okay,
my jeep has 2000 miles on it its a little over a year old., its almost strictly a trail rig anyway. im willing to try crawlers after seeing them in action.
ill certainly heed your advice about really hot days, and longer trips....
i just havent seen any jks with crawlers around here, and i had the oppertunity to buy them right, so ill try them
if i need a body lift, ill do it.

I should have my OME lift on this weekend. I also have a 1" BL. I'll have my 35 KM2's on next week. I should have plenty of room according to what I've read.

okay they are on. i gained about 11/2 front and rear from the ome, so it lifted my jeep around 4 inches( i removed the 2.5 tfbb), the krawlers look great on the 15x8 soft 8s
i flexed it a lot disconnected, and it didnt hit, we will se on the trails.
they are a true 35 inches tall, and a full 13.50wide, they look good, ill post pics tommorow
