Default OME lift - How Good is it?

I am about to pull the trigger on buying a beefed up OME lift from Northridge. For $1,000, I can get adjustable track arms with the OME kit. Does anyone have any comments on this lift? Thanks.

I am thinking about the same but will probably go with the non HD springs. There have been quite a few posts about OME lifts including the package from northridge. Just do a search.
But so far I have not read any posts about people regretting the decision to go with OME.

The OME kit is a very well engineered kit, in regards to the spring and shocks giving lift and a good ride at the same time. My wife and I both drive Jeeps and I installed an OME kit on mine to get my 35's on it with the intentions of it being temporary until I can get my hands on a Full Traction long arm kit, then move the OME kit to my wifes Jeep.

I was really surprised with how well the Jeep drives with this lift on it. The Jeeps should come this way from the factory. I would recommend the track bars to recenter the axles, and David's (Northridge) OME/track bar package is a great deal!

I believe you would be very happy with your decision on the OME kit. Keep in mind that this is a sickness and you may want to get bumpers in the future, so it may be a good idea to get the HD kit and not use the 1/2" spacer that comes for the front end until you do get a front bumper and or winch.

Here is a photo of mine with the HD OME kit with front and rear bumpers and winch and35" KM2's. I would expect it to settle some as most of the lifts do, but I have heard there has not been much settling with these lifts. I have not had mine long enough to notice one way or the other.

Do it, pull the trigger. You won't regret it.

If another deal doesnt happen, I am choosing between the OME kit and the soon to be released TF 2.5" coil lift. I think the deciding factor will be which kit will give me the most travel/flex. No bad things heard about the OME lift.

I am only planing on going with 33's so I think the extra inch of lift from the HD is not needed for me. Or maybe I should just go on up to 35's. Kinda weary about that though. My TJ had 33's and they worked great for me.
But lift is going to be OME. I know that trackbars are recommended on the HD kit but what about the NON HD kit?
I really love the look of your rig Ctimrun.

I think the OME lift is awesome. I got the HD springs for the front (due to AEV front bar and winch), and Medium springs at the rear. I also have 33's and think it has improved the look significantly!!

X2 what Tim said. The OME is great and the ride is super.
