Default ome lift kit?

Do any of you have any feedback on old man emu lift kits its hard to tell
if you get any lift or just a better ride? we added 33 inch tires to wrangler x
and have a slight clearance issue with the rear fenders on the trail, the rub inside the wells ,we have popped one off already. We dont want to go to tall as we spend 80 % of the time on california freeways but some of our trails are rutted and a couple of extra inches would be nice we also have aftermarket tube bumpers with a hilift mounted on the front and a hard top also Im abig guy so we are a little heavier
than bone stock.

You get more than the stated 2" lift out of them.

that's for sure. running the light duty coils, you will get about 2-2.5" of lift. if you get teh HD coils like i did, you will get closer to 3.5" of lift.

I love this kit. I went with the HD springs since I knew I was going to run heavy bumpers on both ends and a winch. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone.

I have a question about this lift as well. I'm pretty sure I want to go with OME. I have an unlimited with tow package and want to keep my towing capabilities. Anyone running this lift with the HD rear coils or the extra HD coils? How is the ride and which would you recommend?

Thanks

we are running the HD coils and while the ride is firm, it's still quite comfortable. of course, loaded down with gear or pulling a heavy trailer, it's very nice and without too much squat.

I just installed the OME lift on my 4 D X. I used the heavy springs with 36K miles on the Jeep so far. I gained a total of 4" lift with the rest of the jeep stock. 33's should be no problemo.

I will be adding front and rear adjustable trac bars in the near future. The write up wayoflife did works AWESOME !
