OME lift owners please chime in on your experience
Could we reach a concensus about the different spring rates available from OME as they relate to the 4-dr JK? I've read too many threads on these OME springs, and read too many conflicting opionions. I want to run 35" KM2's on stock Moab rims. Spacers installed.
With winch and winch bumper installed in front...
1. Which spring are you running?(Medium, Heavy Duty, etc)
2. How much lift did you gain?
3. Are you satisfied with the ride quality?
4. Did it level out the Jeep?
5. Did you purchase and use the adjustable track bars?
Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond.

4-door sahara
Front - HD spring w/Rugged Ridge XHD and Warn 9500 = 3 1/2"
Rear - MD spring w/stock bumper and 295/75/16 spare = 2"
HD front/MD rear netted me 2" overall, and the jeep sits level. When the hard top goes back on, I may remove the front spacer or add one to the rear. Have to wait and see. (no plans on a new rear bumper/racks/etc, so no need for the HD springs there)
The axle shift was not very noticeable with the stock tires, but obvious with the backspace pushing the new tires out further. Adj track bars front and back fixed it right up.
The ride is stiffer, but not harsh, and in my opinion, better than stock. (I noticed the extra stiffness more when the load range D tires went on than from the lift).
There is plenty of room for 35's if/when I decide to go up.
Good luck on your decision.

1. Which spring are you running?(Medium, Heavy Duty, etc)
I am running the Light Load up front and Med in the Rear. My bumper and winch is the basic DX and smittybilt, so really light (130 pds or so) compared to other bumpers out there, this is the reason why I went with light load up front and med rears
2. How much lift did you gain?
I got about 2.5-3 inches
3. Are you satisfied with the ride quality?
Most Defiantly. Rides better than stock no question.
4. Did it level out the Jeep?
Yes.
5. Did you purchase and use the adjustable track bars?
Yes. Got the FT Kit from David at Northridge(Highly Highly recommended if you go the OME direction). Allowed the axles to be centered.

HD front springs, 300 lbs constant load rear springs
adj trac bars front & rear
AEV front bumper & warn 9000xi stock rear bumper
BFG OEM 32" tires
In my biased opinion (had many OME kits on different jeeps) it rides better than stock
added 3/4 spacer up front, still sits a little low up front when empty
when fully loaded with family and gear it sits level
Mine is an 08 Unlimited X
1. Which spring are you running?(Medium, Heavy Duty, etc)
Front = OME619 with N196 shocks and OMEJKPF 10mm spacer
Rear = OME618 with N198 shocks
2. How much lift did you gain?
Front = 4" lift only. 5.5" with 35" tires.
Rear = 2.5" lift only. 4" with 35" tires.
These measurements ar eright after the install. It has been almost two weeks so I need to see if the springs have settled any.
3. Are you satisfied with the ride quality?
YES !!!
4. Did it level out the Jeep?
Yes
5. Did you purchase and use the adjustable track bars?
Yes, but not installed yet. Both axles need the adjustable track bars. Mine were both very easy to see that they are out further on one side. The front is towards the driver's side, and the rear is towards the passanger side.

It appears that the Heavy springs up front, with the Medium? springs rear level out the 4-dr best...when equipped with front bumper and winch, and rear bumper.... I'm not familiar with the OME numbers just yet, but for those of you who cited OME part numbers.....is that true? Heavy fronts and Medium rears?
Thanks for all the info and especially the pics....I believe the pics will certainly help those like myself in their decision.

I just noticed BigKahuna said he added a 3/4" spacer to the front and it still sits a tad low in the front....and that is using HD front springs, and MD rear. He also has the AEV bumper and Warn winch that I have. Anyone have any ideas why his may still be low in the front "with" the 3/4" spacer....while some 4-drs sit level without the spacer....and they also have a bumper w/winch in the front? Could his front springs be MD as well...by mistake? My common sense tells me that a HD spring should behave the same in his Jeep as it does in "Ctimrun"'s Jeep without a spacer.
Thanks,
Jeff

619 Front = HD
618 Rear= MD
I also added a 3/4 spacer to the front of mine and it sits dead level with the mods in my sig. Just added a M.O.R.E. 1" BL and now have room for 37's, but not the $$ right now.

Acutally:
618 in rear = heavy
616 in front = heavy
617's are the Medium for the rear.
As for the front all that is listed is light/stock load and heavy. No Medium.
Never mind on that, I was referring to the 2dr and I am assuming you are talking about the 4 dr. My bad.
