Hey all,

I've been running the 2.5'' OME HD kit for about 6 months now on my 2011 2dr sahara (on 35" tires). Back when i bought it i was still pretty new at this and just let the shop run with it. They said everything was included with the kit, but are there any complementary mods that should be done to avoid long term problems?

Thanks!

Depending on how much lift you actually achieved, you may need front and rear adj. track bars to center axles, adj. front control arms to regain proper caster and ride quality, front and rear adj. swaybar links (you may be able to relocate the stock rears to front and add adj. links in rear), then, eventually drive shafts. I'm running the same OME HD lift on my 2DR Rubi (about 3.5" when first installed, along with 35's) and added everything I mentioned except the D/S's so far, but great lift and ride.

What was included with your kit? Did you get it from Northridge?

I purchased from Northridge, mine only came with front and rear shocks and springs; I kept the bumpstops from the 2" AEV lift and 33's I originally installed and added a 1" TF spacer in front to compensate for sag from winch/bumper when I upgraded to the OME lift and 35's.

Cool thanks, i'll take this info to my guy as questions.

The front sway links are already taken care of as i bought adjustable jks discos afterwards, but i am fairly certain nothing on your list was done at the shop.

In terms of lift height, i dont have the number but at this point i've installed 35'spare, rugged ridge light bar, trail bumpers front and back w/ tire carrier and 8t winch. I imagine this took off half an inch?
