1) You won't get 3" of lift with the light springs

2) If you dont plan on going over 3" of lift, you do not need LCA's

3) You might want to consider getting a rear adjustable track bar as well

Do you plan on running the regular shocks or the long travels?

if not 3" then how much do you think ill get

without the front lca's how can i readjust my caster

why the track bar and not the relocation bracket

the shocks that would be run are the shocks that come with the 3" kit at 4wd.com

only reason i was going with the light load springs was to keep my ride nice and plush.

The height will depend on if you have a 2 door or 4 door. If a 2 door, I would guess 2.5" and a 4 door would be less than 2. I have a 4 door with med duty coils and it netted around 2.5".

Your lift isn't high enough to worry about your castor.

The relocation bracket is just a weak spot in my opinion. You have much more flexibility by using the adjustable bar and can center your rear better.

after looking at 4wd site again i have also looked at the full traction 2" kit. i dont offroad a lot and this jeep is my dd and it rides really good now so im wanting to keep my ride as close to stock as possible. i also want to get a "plug and play" setup that i can install and drive and not have to worry about "tweaking this and adjusting that". i also would like to keep any adjustments and angles as close to stock as possible without breaking the bank if thats even possible to do.

Mine has the light springs on a two-door. It was about 2.5+ inches of lift. Added a winch and bumpers, it's still sits 2+ inches over stock. If it's the same OME kit with shocks I installed, the shocks have 1" more travel then stock, and I did not use any bump-stop extensions to reduce travel. At 1" longer travel, the original driveshafts are OK. Check your rear brake lines at full extension, and slightly bend the hard lines at the wheel end for just a little slack in the flex lines if necessary. Also, the axle vent and electric locker wiring will need a slight adjustment to where they are ty-wrapped with the extra inch of travel. I did not adjust the caster, and used the stock control arms. My functional test for caster is to drive a straight flat road, let go of the wheel and see how it drifts. Did a before and after test, mine handles almost exactly the same on the road as before the lift. I'm very satisfied with it. It's a nice amount of lift with minimal change to the suspension geometry and stress on other parts.

Suggest downloading the instructions for the Mopar 2" lift (or similar) and the OME write-up from Project JK -- The OME kit doesn't come with instructions.

I have the light load with the nitrocharger sport shocks,on a 4 door.
It gave me 2" in front and 2.25" at the rear.
With the soft top on the rear raises yet another .5"
I will be adding 1/2" spacers up front.
And like another poster said if you do add bumpers etc.....it will sag.
They are a softer coil which is what I wanted.
The ride is alot better and softer than stock.
If I were to add bumpers and acessories I would get the medium duty.
