Default OME light-med. duty

I have tried searching, but not much comes up.

So, I am thinking about the OME light-medium duty lift. I have a 2 door rubicon, with hardtop. I do not plan on adding bumpers. At the most, I may add a synthetic rope winch to the factory bumper. Even that is only a maybe.

So, the question is... with an expected 2" lift height ( at least I think that is right for the medium duty kit) what else should be added for it to really well dialed in? I am thinking - adjustable swaybar links - front and rear, bumpstops, and brake lines front and rear. Maybe adj. trackbars?

The kit comes only with the springs and shocks, which some people say is all you need for 2", but I really want it to be dialed in, almost factory like as far as reliability/peace of mind goes.

Do medium to moderate wheeling a few times a year, planning on 33's mounted to aev pintlers.

Will be calling Dave at Northridge to make the order, and go over it with him, and get his opinion too, but would like to hear any and all thoughts as this is a big purchase, and hopefully my final lift for this jk. (can't wait to see if they make a truck ) Also, not interested in teraflex, want to go with OME.

Any thoughts? thanks in advance

Sounds like you are thinking correctly, great choice on parts. The only thing that I would add to your list is front lower control arms so you can dial in the caster.

Most will tell you that you will not "need" most of those items, but if you are like me and don't want any problems and want things to work right the first time, then you are on the right path.

yep... lower control arms and adjustable track bar. SS extended front brake lines or drop brackets.

That makes for a solid kit without spending too much.

My Jeep is + 2.25" in front, +1.25" in the rear and use non-LT OME shocks. It drives fine without FLCA's and I can't tell it's off center so I'm not doing track bars either. The rear brake lines had to be adjusted (recontoured hard lines). I added JKS QD's.

With 33's on properly backspaced wheels, you shouldn't need more bump stop, but you'll just have to try it. I added some 2.5" TF stops on the rear of mine just because I have EVO Rockstars and I didn't want my shocks bottoming. I get that back in droop.

I bought the OME kit from Dave and Northridge 4x4. The kit comes with springs, shocks and front & rear adjustable trackbars. I added the front / rear adjustable sway bar links and spacers.

You will need the spacers if you are sticking with the stock rims. I plan on upgrading my rims to ones with 4.5" backspacing, then will ditch the spacers.

Running Falken Rocky Mountain 265/70/18's.

Couldn't be happier. IMHO this is all you really need to do.

Yeah, I was thinking I might need these too. I hope not though, as I do not want to spend TOO much on the lift. Need tires/wheels as well

And yeah, I want to do it right the first.....err...... this time!

I'm looking at the OME kit from Northridge also. The one with the adj. trackbars. My Jeep is a Rubicon 2-door automatic. I have 33" tires and really do not want to go much higher than the levelling kit that is now on it. I also have front and rear bumpers with a winch.

I'm thinking of the LT springs also. RubiR177 let us know how it works out for you. Take good measurements before and after. Pics would be nice also.
