Default OME LT or not?

I'm buying new shocks and need to decide between the regular and the long travel. My unlimited rubi has OME spring and netted about 2.5-3inches of lift. I want the LTs but am afraid the shock body will be too long and will limit my uptravel by bottoming out. Who runs this set up and how does it work? Lets here everyone's experiences!

yes, you will need bumpstops for the LT shocks, probably around 2". An alternative is to look at their new Mid travel shocks, which sit in between the standard and LTS.

I have about 3" of lift with the LT shocks. With 1" bumpstops and stock Rubicon tires, it performs great on the trails.

When the tires stuff, have you checked to see if its hitting the bumpstop, or stopping cause its bottoming out the shock?

I love my LT OMEs. With 35s and 2" lift I needed a 1" bumpstop to prevent shock from bottoming out. Front driveshaft will need to be replaced.
