Default OME Shock Help

Hey guys, I bought some used OME shocks but they didnt come with bushings and little plates needed to install the fronts. The seller told me but I figured the factory ones would work, well they dont, too small. Im in a bind, can i get something that will work from a local hardware or auto store or should i try giving Dave a call at northridge? thanks

Auto parts store should have some that work, just bring the shock in.

Pretty sure you're talking about the bar pins for the shocks, in addition to the bushings. Any decent auto parts store will have them, or call Dave.

Kinda strange that the seller didn't include these. The OME bushings aren't known to wear out.

I am sure if you give ARB/OME a call they will ship you replacements. They are not expensive parts and should be able to replace free or with a minimal fee.

My OME LT shocks from Northridge didn't even come with a single bushing. Just 2 nuts on the bar pin.

I guess you're supposed to use your stock parts.

The Long Travel shocks dont come with new bushings for the top of the shock you are required to reuse your factory bushings which are the best bushing to use anyway.

The factory nut wont fit and that is why OME supplies a new one.

I have the yellow OME. I assume those are the long travels? Either way they came with all the bushings. I did not have to reuse any stock parts.
