Default OME Shocks - Nitro or Sport

Hi
I am looking at adding some long travel shocks to my JK, keen on the OME shocks. And I have seen many guys on this forum with the OME set up.
Are most of you using the OME nitrocharger, the older yellow shocks, or are many of you using the newer Sport, the one with the black plastic protector shell at the top?
Thanks

Hi,
are you inquiring about the Nitrocharger Sport for 0"-2" lift or the LT ones for 4"-6" lift heights?

My JK had shot stock front shocks, so I express-ordered the Nitrocharger Sport (60066) from the Austrian distributor.
Installed them 2 days ago and love the changed ride characteristics!!!
The rear shocks have been replaced by the previous owner with stock ones just less than 3000km ago (I suppose under warranty) - that kinda keeps me from ripping them out, but I still would like to change to Nitrocharger Sports as well.
How can I describe it? The front shocks swallow bumps and those imperfections in the roads, but the same bumps give the rearend an uncomfortable kick.

Here are the measurements:
stock front shock 38cm - 57.5cm
Nitrocharger Sport 38cm - 60cm

So they are as short as the stockers and work with my stock springs - no need to worry about bumpstopping just because of the shocks - but allow for 1" more downtravel!

i went from stock to a 2.5" actual lift and used the nitrocharger sport shocks and light duty OME coils. Night and day from stock. My JK now is more comfortable, it handles much better and it performs better off road even though i have 35" tires. Go with the sport and you will bvery satisfied with your choice.
