Default OME vs. OEM shocks

So I have been doing some research on this and was thinking and PLEASE correct me if I am wrong but here are the number I have found,

Collapsed/Extended
Stock Rubicon front shocks= 14.04" / 21.93"
OME n196 = 13.70" / 22.70"
Stock Rubicon rear shocks = 14.68" / 22.56"
OME N198 = 14.80" / 24.20"

The stock gas rubicon shocks are almost the same as the OME size wise. They are almost the same collapsed and ony about .77" longer for fronts and 1.64" for the rears extended... If you would have to buy the 2" extenders for the stock shocks then why wouldn't you have to do the extenders for the OME shocks that came with the shocks??? If one is not worried about the flex extended then why wouldn't the stock shocks be fine the way they are??? Can someone please clear this up for me befor I buy OME shocks that are the same size as the shocks I have now... Shhould I get the LT versions for the 2.5" springs?

Thanks!
Russ

OME now do a MID travel shock as at around 25.6", approx 2" shorter than there LT's. Almost perfect for a 2 to 2.5' lift

I don't have a rubicon, so I don't know how their shocks compare to my sports' shocks, but the ome shocks are WAY beefier than my stock. You may want to consider more than just pure length.

I think they are 6066M and 6067M, same as the LT but with an M at the end. Only available in the Sport model. LT's are 6066L and 6067L.
