don't be embarrassed. In a few years, it will be the thing to go find a cheap 2wd and yank the entire drivetrain. Slap a big V8, tranny, Atlas and Rockwells and wheel the hell out of it. It was a strategic move by DC to make it allowable for the JK body to get into the big mod offroad scene quicker by making it less expensive sooner.

That's funny-- I was over at Off Road Evolution the other day and Mel and his guys are getting ready to do exactly that with a 2WD X Unlimited.... should be pretty awesome when it's done.

Hmm...that's where I bought my JK from. I'm going to trade it in now if I can get anywhere near that for the trade

These guys are actually really good. They have people fly in from all over the east coast and buy from them. They'll pick you up in Charlotte and take you to the dealer and you drive back.
