my only point here is DO NOT USE THE RED TOP BATTERY FOR WINCHING. YOU WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY ON THE OPTIMA RED TOP.

If you are going to go OPTIMA, use YELLOW TOP. AND YES, WINCHING IS DEEP CYCLE. Yellow top is a GREAT battery - despite what some say....and i have nothing to do with optima...just preaching the truth.

want more preaching regarding OPTIMA batteries...

Much to my suprise my Australian diesel actually came with a yellow top battery.
