I'll start by saying I have searched and read other threads on this subject, but am looking for more advice or ppl with the same issues.

Optima Yellow tops are extremely popular, thus I chose to use one.

After installing 3 days after (no winching) my alternator (stock 140amp) burned out and died.

I bought a new alternator and installed. 3-4 days after (Including winching this time) the battery light is on and it seems unpluging the battery while it's running shuts off the Jeep telling me the alternator is not working properly.

all conections are good, what is going on?????? I'm ditching my yellow top and putting stock back in before it fries again!
