Default Ouch!

I just installed a skid row front skid plate. Did I just take one on the chin or am I missing the point? Sure doesn't appear to be protecting very much!

I put on a small steel Mopar front skid with the Mopar winch bumper. Put it on mainly for an air dam so I could throw the plasticrap away. Even though it doesn't cover back very far, it sits low enough to tell me if a rock would be tall enough to connect with the steering.

It helps keep the hood from jumping around on the highway, and the MPG stayed the same as with the plasticrap.

Seems like a reasonable compromise so far.

Did it at least come with a free set of muffler bearings or Headlight fluid?

Aren't they meant to protect the insanely expensive electronic sway bar disconnect, on the Rubicons?

Yep. Came with a quart of each! Guess I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.
