this I like but keep the hitch mount. Would it be possible to see the lights inside the wings? I don't if it would good but I'm curious. my the way, awsome job. Let's see a "JK" insignia waterjet somewhere on there.

Yeah, but the only problem I have is that there is only so much you can do with a stubby. They all pretty much look the same.

Default Bent Wings

While I'm not much of a fan of Stubby Bumpers (personal taste... I understand the clearance reasons), I'd prefer a stubby bumper to those wings. My major concern is that all they'd deflect is brush and if they impacted anything heavier, they'd just bend back damaging the fender and possibly impacting the tire.

I guess my thoughts are that if you are going to sacrifice the clearance provided by a stubby, then you should do it for something that is actually gonna provide reasonable protection.

Aside from that I think they would look pretty good.

program is solidworks, and sorry i left the USB drive at work so i couldn't work on it this weekend :(

but wow ya were very busy, i think it very clear many people have vast difference in what they want and need from a bumper. not to mention what they like to look at. looks like we have our hads full. either way all i can think is u can make all the people happy some of the time, some people happy all the time, but not all the people all the time

lets see where i start first, i will add back the hitch point, i had not heard any comments on it so i had removed it.

sorry guys i have been really preoccupied with real "paid" design work lol havn't had a chance to keep working on the "project jk bumper" will post new pics as soon as i can. i'm thinking of going with a more customizable design which has been the trend somewhat with these bumpers and making it a bit modular. where you have the core unit and various "wings" and hoops to tailor it to each individuals needs. kinda like the a few of the bumpers in production now with options of hoops etc.

great input so far guys thanks

these are my ideas so far cept i want to sweep back the side loops a bit,( next revision)

I'd make those side brush guards wrap around a little more. The Jeep is square enough (aerodynamically) you need to round off the bumper a little so the designs complement each other.
Yeah I went to art school, so what.

I don't like the wings myself. The rest looks good.
