Yep, just keep it off.

Look at your rpm's at 70 with it turned off, and compare it to the OD ON rpm's of 5.13's or 5.38's in the chart in the faq's and see what you come up with.

Yep, you'll be able to keep it on after re-gearing. The OD Off rpms with 3.73's should be very close to the OD On rpms with the new gears.

Or if you are just looking at the chart, you can divide that rpm number by .69 to get the od off rpm.

using 34" as the actual mounted height of the tires

auto, 3.73 = 1781 rpm @ 70
1781 /.69 = 2581 rpm @ 70 w/OD Off

auto, 5.13 = 2450 rpm @ 70 w/ OD On
auto, 5.38 = 2569 rpm @ 70 w/ OD On

Nthinuf that's my only problem. Where I live can't drive 70mph. Lol. Live on a Marine base and the surrounding beach area is all by pass no faster than 55 unless I drive 3 hours to nearest major highway. I won't hit a major highway till after gears are installed and taken a 700 mile trip and taken it back after a week thru the mountains and all. So any suggestions with that situation? I'm sure when gears get installed be better how u recommend using the vehicle when driven first time on major highway with those? Such as with OD and all? And I have a auto.

With 35's I left my overdive on all the time . With 4.10's off, same as you with 3.73's . To me 5.13s and 35's was the best match up to give you abit more umphh. No need to turn od off, at least where I live. Also, if you do you'll be cranking some rpms , it needs to shift into od unless your doing some serious hills all the time, you can leave od off with 35's.

I drive flat ground where I live so really no hills at all except little minor ones of course so u say leave it on or off? Don't want to damage anything before putting new gears in
