I can't speak for anyone else but I've had my OX locker for three years now, never had a problem and love it. Only problems I ever hear about are cable issues....find someone who knows what they are doing on the install (especially when they run the cable) and you'll never have a problem....here's a couple of pics of my shifter mounted inside.....

Thanks for posting the pic's I like that location... but I'm wanting to lock up the front and the rear and it doesn't look there is room to
mount both shifters in that location.

Mine is mounted on the center console just forward of the seat. Sorry.......no pics.
