Default Rusty's Offroad Gusset kit

Anyone have this kit or ever heard of it/have reviews? Im looking for a gusset kit that's the solid type like this one or the Teraflex kind. I bought the EVO C2's but because of my AEV kit, one of the brackets that bolt onto the axle tube is preventing the gusset from sitting properly and its not flush with the spring mounting pad. I will take pics in the morning....

Anyone know of any others?

I installed the rusty's on my jeep... Nice an easy fits good just a lil minor grinding to fit perfect... Just becareful welding on the axel an the c's jump around an distribute the heat so not to warp any of them... Took me bout 2 hour in my garage be sure to grind off all the paint on the axel to assure a good weld.. I sprayed all the welds an grinned parts of the axel with undercoat to prevent rust it's cheap an looks good

Most likely gonna go with PUREJEEP since they are the "knuckle" type.... that was the kind I was looking for, or the "name" I should say

The only difference I see between the PJ and Rustys is that the PJ offers the control skids. Am I corrrect?

yes and the purejeep gussets appear to be a little stouter.

False.

Our Backbone system is a full truss that boxes in the upper passenger side control arm mount. It also boxes in the factory track bar mount. We use 3/4" on the C-Spines & Backbone is 3/16th with dimple die holes.

Rusty's is a flat plate.
Maybe you can help me out...

Here are 2 pics of the issue I am running into. I have circled the area in red in the picture, sorry it's so faint/thin, but it's there if you look. As you can see, one of the brackets that bolt onto the axle tube contours a little bit around the tube and sticks out I'd say between 1/4-1/2" from the spring mounting pad. This is prohibiting the gusset from sitting properly around the C and is being "held up" by the bracket, thus not letting it sit flush with the mounting pad

So, I said ok...if I can't get these certain gussets to work, I'll go with the "knuckle" type, like PUREJEEP or Teraflex, but I am also concerned I would run into the same issue.

I spoke to someone at PUREJEEP and they suggested I email them detailed pictures and they will give me their insight as to perhaps grinding/triming part of the gusset for it to work. I emailed the pics to Sales@purejeep.com
