Default OX Lockers

I have been looking around for OX lockers for my 07 JK X. IE D30 front, D44 (30spline) rear. Who sells them? I have regeard already (5:13) running 35's and want selectable lockers. Who sells them????

TKS

Default OX

I was looking around for the same thing brother, but there won't be anything available for quit some time. The company that manufactures OX lockers is also an aviation ground equipment manufacturer and they've put OX lockers for the JK on the bottom of the list of new products to develop. If you consider the price of OX lockers and the cost of labor to install them, you might as well score a different axle with a locker and new gears already installed.

The OX for the D30 is the standard D30 locker. The D44's will work if you're willing to drill the holes on the R/P -carrier larger. You'll need to check with someone about whether to get the higher ratio or lower. I've seen it around here somewhere. 4wd.com, quadratech are sponsors who carry them. Many others do as well if you're looking for the best price. I know a company who'll build an axle for you. PM me if you're interested as they are non-sponsors.

How about the Aussie Locker? I have looked on Northridge 4x4 site and they sell them but with a disclaimer that (It has not been tested in the JK D30). The JK D30 is more stout than the TJ D30 so not sure what the issue is? Northridge also stated that there may need to be modification? Any Idea?

As for complete axles. I plan on running the D30 until I mangle it to the point of no return then do then Rubicon D44 front and rear swap much like you did. I have already re geared to 5.13's so want to recoop from the bill.

I'm interested in the Aussie locker too. I too noticed the "disclamer" on Northridge's site. "Purchase at own risk" I believe. Not sure what the issue would be, but I imagine you would have a hard time with a warranty problem.

Bit of a hijack there. I imagine unimog2 is looking at it the same way I am. A selectable (Aussie is not) locker that isn't dependent on an onboard air with actuators system or electrical wiring solenoid system -just a simple push pull cable actuated locker.

Although as far as risk goes, a non selectable in my front axle? No thanks.

Eaton now has an E-Locker for the Dana30. They have a 27-spline and a 30 spline.

Just been informed in no uncertain terms there is NO Ox that'll work on our D44's.
