Default Pacesetter Exhaust System?

I always see the Pacesetter Exhaust System on eBay for $207.97 + $40 shipping. Anybody tried out one of these?

Also considering the Gibson.......................

I am looking for a good (low and a little louder) sound tone and performance............

I'll search the site for exhaust info also.................

Given that Jeep was nice enough to give us a mandrel bent stainless steel exhaust, I don't know why anybody would replace the muffler with something that would further restrict air flow.

You could most likely have any local muffler shop do that same thing for less money.

I would think that the Gibson would be a good system, but it seams that not many people on the site like it???

Just my 2 cents.

Read a bunch of other threads regarding exhaust.

It appears that many members have done a re-locate of a new muffler instead of using a catback system.

Considering th Magnaflow 6" round (#12646) or 4" x 9" oval (#11376) now, but I am concerned about California smog tests..............

I would like a little more sound and performance (in that order) from my exhaust.

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Default TFX Pacesetter Cat-Back Exhaust

Many people choose to use the Kat-Back systems as a cheap DIY upgrade to the Jeep. Myself being one of these disgruntled people, I do not recommend TFX Pacesetter exhaust. Mine took forever to ship, came with the wrong sized U-Clamps, and looks cheaply made (suspect welding of muffler). It does not look like it will stand up to rough trail use, and I have heard my friends Borlas and Gibsons which look and sound much better. I will upgrade my upgraded exhaust to a complete system of a better brand.
