And be really careful not to burn the paint. For someone who's never done it before, I'd suggest fishing line and a little elbow grease to get the residue off.

Dammit. You had a NASCSAR edition? That's ultimate redneck. Did you scrap the beer cooler and tailgate grille?

Also about removing the emblem.....a plastic Bondo spreader works really well.

Double sided tape. The surface of the Jeep and the emblem need to be SPOTLESS. Clean them with soap and water, then with alcohol.

i found some car emblem adhesive at walmart that is made by 3M in the auto aisle and that is what I used for the Jeep hood logo. I used fishing line to get the jeep logo off and used some wd-40 and elbow grease to get the residue off both the grill and the plastic.

I peeled all that stuff off of mine... trail rated badge, Jeep emblem and wrangler unlimited sahara stickers, GONE! I used a hair dryer and then Honda polish to remove the residue.

The Jeep emblem is the grill!

What does trail rate even mean anyway? I seldom see any jeeps without the emblem.

If you want to go two tone you can pick up some liquid mask that you can apply with a brush and dries to a gummy texture that peels off when you are done. Hobby lobby special

If you have a "X" model I consider it a "NASCAR edition" with all the damn stickers, badges and don't even get me started about dealership advertisement stickers.

Nah, you have to a have a beer cooler regardless, grill is optional.
