Default Painted Hard Top

On my old YJ I painted the Hard top to match, I want to keep the hard top on my JK black but I have been thinking of painting the inside. Has anyone thought of this or done it. I was thinking of painting it black to darkin the inside. Just wondering what everyone else thinks.

Sounds like it would look pretty good to me. I don't really care for the white in mine either. I'll probably paint mine gray eventually but I can't talk myself into painting on my Jeep when it's still so new.

Talking Nice

I haven't had my hard top on for a couple of months now, but I think the white did start to bug me a little, maybe a textured black would look nice, good Idea...

Yea i was thinking of doing the same thing too. The white really bothers me for some reason. I'll probably paint it a matte black to match the rest of the car.

This will be one of the first things I do when my black rubi arrives. The white inside is just tacky.

LMFAO

Is anyone gonna paint the outside to match? I have seen a couple but didn't know if I wanted to and don't know how hard it would be.

Unfortunately the black on the outside is enough to make it hot. I hate taking my top panels off during the day.
