Default Painted Hardtop

I have a 2011 Sahara in Detonator Yellow. I want the painted hardtop. Is it better (or even possible) to order it from somewhere or to have the existing top sanded and painted? Does anyone know the costs of a painted hardtop vs. having the existing one painted? Or is there anywhere I can possibly buy one used or trade my used top (+cash)?

Your best bet would be to try and find a local guy and do a trade.

2nd cheapest way would be to sand your current top and have it professionally painted, shouldn't be more than a ~$400. 2 doors for my neighbor was $350 painted and sanded.

Most expensive way would be to buy new one. Cost you roughly $2500+ for a color matched top from Dealer or Quadratec.

Thanks for your input. $400 seems fair.
