So someone backed up in to my jeep tonight, not enough to ruin it but push in the two blocks where the tow hooks are. They popped out leaving the dent. Oh it was family too lol soooo u know . Anyways i wanna make it into a stubby wih vdp caps but paint the whole thing with bed liner. Do i even need to sand the bumper cuz of the texture. Anyone have any pics painted?

 

I would probably sand and prime it so the bedliner sticks good

 

Make sure its cleaned good and get all the wax and sh!t off. I didn't and the bedliner on the bumper only lasted till the first pressure wash then flaked right off, the stuff on the caps is fine though. Looked good while it lasted. In the spring I am gonna try again but with krylon paint this time.
