Painting Poison Spyder Crusher Flares (Cost & Application)?
I've been having all my parts powder coated black with a textured finish. What I've found out is the salt from the roads in the winter will seep into the microscopic holes and start to rust. Speaking with my powder coater it's the first he's seen this. We decided to blast my parts again and apply a zinc primer powder coat (for free). Then heat the part to 250* and apply the black texture again. It's looks beautiful and a lot more rugged than a standard textured finish, but not as ugly as thick bedliner. Just an tip since your in the NE. He quoted me the PSC flares at $400.
Stupid question, I've never had anything powder coated, what options are there to know about, especially regarding longer lasting options for New England winters?
I just ordered the Poison Spyder aluminum fender flares, the Bushwacker's were a big mistake, started falling off after just a moderate amount of real off roading with tight passes and natural trail hazards...

There were many colors and textures to choose from plus metal flake clear coat.etc....
The shop you use should be able to give you suggestions on what would work best
