Default Parts & Labor for 5.13 Gears?

What would be a fair price to pay for Parts & Labor to Install 5.13 Gears
Front & Back?

I paid about $1,050 for mine installed. I bought my ring & pinion's and overhaul kit from Dave at Northridge, they have the best deal I've seen on ring & pinion's.

1350.

But that included a teraflex sleeve and install too.

I, too, got my 5.13s from Northridge.

$250 to $350 per axle in labor is a fair price out here. Anything over that, and your probably being taken advantage of. Add another $150-$250 for labor on axle sleeves.

Certain places have $999 prices for parts and labor, out the door. Been there did that, very happy with the 5.13's, you'll love the difference, well worth the $.

It varies quite a bit, but generally $1000 - $2000. (There is a place in Denver that had an awesome Xmas regearing for the holidays special. It was only $2050. I'd hate to see what their regular prices are...). My 'first' re-gear for the JK was $650 out the door, and took all of 3.5 hours to complete. And yes, I had to have both sets replaced due to the crappy work, so do yourself a favor and check the warranty and get recommendations.

Also verify whether they are using Install or Overhaul/Master install kits. That could change the price a bit.

Canada sucks for installs. In Edmonton were looking at $2000 just for gears/install.

Out in panoka (one hr away) it's 400 an axle plus gears. Which isn't bad.

6spd manual with 5.13's and 35's would probably be a too much for freeway driving, but ok around town, and great for alot of rock crawling type stuff. On the other hand, of you ever plan on 37's it would be pretty good for all around type driving, an you wouldn't have to re-gear.
