Default Performance exhaust

I want to put an exhaust on my JK and I have a couple of questions. First off, what would most recommend? I have been looking at the MBRP and it looks like a really good deal. I have also noticed quite a few of the Jeeps on the forum have that particular exhaust. My second question is whether or not putting an exhaust on the Jeep is going to do anything to my warranty? I plan to have the exhaust put on at a shop since I have zero experience and wouldn't want to screw anything up...

for me

I've the gibson, I used it for about a year, I had headechs because of it and i felt m going deaf -_-, now I have taken off the gibson, am going to buy a new one, but I am hesitated between borla or MBRP

So :

the gibson is extremly loud and no gain in HP

the borla is nice, extremly quiet and a good gain in HP, ( a friend of mine have it )

the MBRP, I've read good things about it, it have good sound and 9HP-15lbs gain proven by a dyno

hope I've helped you

THese engines seem to respond well to a relocated straight through muffler along side the evap canister. At least mine did. It was a very noticable power increase. Not huge but very noticable for sure. Also it is right where it needs to be. In the lower RPM band.

If you have a lift or plan on getting one in the future I would rec the MBRP (#S5518BLK). Muffler before the axle, high rise over rear axle, completely coated system. All things that are fairly valuable off-road. Their dyno charts are fairly reliable too.
I just took off my muffler and added a piece of pipe because it was free, I'm saving up for the MBRP. jmo.
