Default Phat tires and rims for my Black Mamba!

I just purchased Pro Comp Alloys Flat Black Wheel With TiresSERIES 7005, 17x8, 6 on 5.5 Bolt PatternBackspace = 4.5 in. Max Load= 2200lbsFinish = Flat Black Hub Centric = NoOffset = 0mmMud-Terrain T/A KM2Benefits of BF Goodrich, and wanted to know if I have a 2.5 lift with Pro Comp shocks and spring will I need anything else? I'm hoping that's it, but some of the guys are telling me I might need wheel spacers to avoid rubbing. Anybody out there with feedback?

6 on 5.5 Bolt Pattern
You might have a bit of a problem with that...

If you just purchased maybe you could look at a return and swap to something that is 5 x 5, otherwise you don't need one in any real thickness, get as thin as you can that will change your bolt pattern to match your new wheels

Did you already buy these wheels? If not just buy wheels with a 5x5 bolt pattern and 4.5" back spacing

You need a converter, from 6x5.5 to 5x5. Most will probably be 1.5" - 2" thick, so your effective backspace will be 3"-2.5". (which is basically stuck out far enough to clear 40" tires). As noted above, you would be much better off selling those rims and buying the correct rims.

Here is a set of adapters. 2" thick, and $240 for 4.
6x5.5 / 6x139.7 Hub to 5x5 / 5x127 Wheel 4 Adapters 6 to 5 lug Rim 2 pc 2"thick - mywheeladapters.com

And be sure to check the tech specs on whatever you buy. Make sure they are quality spacers, with quality hardware. You really don't want them falling apart on you...

but some of the guys are telling me I might need wheel spacers to avoid rubbing.
And to answer this, a 4.5 backspace is good for 35x12.50 tires. A higher number will pull the tires further into the wheel well, giving a higher likelihood of rubbing. A lower number (those rims + spacers) will push the tires farther out, which may lead to accelerated wear and tear.

If that is an pic of the actual wheels you bought, they are not 6 on 5.5...that is a pic of some type of 5 bolt pattern....at least it looks like it from this angle
