Default pic request, MC 3.5" 2dr

Ordered my next upgrades, 3.5" MC setup, but seeing some really "tall" 3.5" Jeeps of various lift/coil makes.
Starting to second guess...
So, please just MetalCloak 3.5", and just 2drs.
Appreciate it.

And so that you know, I've been scrolling thru show and tell, and members rigs threads, but 100's of pages takes a long time, so, if you can help... thanks

You might have better luck browsing the Metalcloak Thread. 244 pages of nothing but metalcloak.

I found the 2.5" to be perfect on a 2-door. It nets about 3". The 3.5" will put you in drag link flip territory.

Here is mine when it had a 2.5" game changer and 37s.

great looking rig. thanks.
I too have heavy bumpers, full synergy hd belly and will be adding a winch with the coils/shocks... running 35's till they wear out, then going 37's. I have everything I need for a DL flip on order as well.
that 2.5 on yours looks dang near perfect...
I don't know what to do, I started out with my XJ at a true 2", ended up at 3.5" and a belly tuck... belly was up high on that rig... never measured. JK belly hangs low, and a tuck is way out of my budget.
Right now at 2" I'm using the belly pretty hard and often on the trails I run...
decisions decisions...

Running a good set of skids will be more beneficial than the extra 1-1.5" you will get. JMO

Thanks, yes, agreed, I'm running the full Synergy HD setup. Not sure if you are familiar with it or not, but, it's very stout. Shop I deal with has been in business for 50 years, sell just about everything under the sun, and they commented it was the most stout, fullest coverage over the counter setup they have ever dealt with. If you are shopping, take a look.

MC sells just coils, so if you change your mind later, just sell the 3.5 and get 2.5. Unless you flip the drag link, then you're pretty committed.

My rig was reasonably weighted and I got exactly 2.5" of lift front and 2.75" rear. I'd guess you'd be 3.6" front and 3.8" rear.

thanks Invest.
The build sheet on the rig in the photos is near identical to mine (found on another popular Jeep forum)... I have a heavier belly, he has metal fenders and rear tub slabs... otherwise we are the same sprung weight... maybe he's 80lbs heavier overall.
Agree, I can swap coils later... but, the flip will eat up - up travel... bah.
I do run with a lot of gear in the rear when wheeling...
