However, that mirror is in direct line to hit it. The mirror will dent that corner piece of body above the hood, so I'm sure that the mirror could hit the light located there.

I have 8" lights and Mopar brackets. They do not hit.

I haven't...yet. I like how they position the lights; but, I wanted to see if there was anything that made them special, or any noticeable reason why they cost so much.

I like the position better than the KC's but I'm not keen on spending that much. I might fab up a couple or see if I can work a deal at the dealership

You can get the brackets online for $75.
