Default Pics of your 18's with 33's

New JK member and owner here

Factory ordered my 2013 Unl'd Sahara last weekend and have not been able to stop researching my first mods. It is definitely a Jeep thing

I opted for the 3:73's and limited slip with tow package so I can get my Lund to lake with no issues.

I have decided my first mod will be to upgrade to 33s. Before I get several well positioned arguments to go to 35's and/or downsize my wheels, I don't think that's going to happen. I like the look of 18's with bigger tires, I dont do heavy off roading so extra sidewall is not needed and I do like the classic style of the new 2013 Sahara wheel. With the addition of 3:73's I already know my fuel consumption is headed in the wrong direction but 35's are not out of the question. I already have aspirations to upgrade when my 33s come due so if someone can make good argument for 35's out the gate, and why the extra cost of fuel shouldn't be a concern, I'm all ears.

To help me make an educated decision, I am looking for some pics as reference. Google just brings up the same pictures time and time again so if you have the following, post up your pics I would love to see your set up:

275/70/18s AND 295/65/18s with suspension level kit

275/70/18s AND 295/65/18s with BB kit

I'm on the fence with TF level kit or the 2.5" BB kit. Would love to see these tire/wheel combos with these suspension upgrades. Concerned the 2.5 BB might make the 33's look small.

Once I sort this out, I can move onto finalizing the replacement of the stock under powered headlamps with either Truck Lite or JW Speaker LED's and getting some exterior dress up goodies like fuel door and light guards until I park the mods and revisit power adders in the spring like I/H/E and possibly flashpaq.

Thanks all!

I feel the same way about the 18" rim look...always have been partial to a little larger rim on an aggressive tire. I have the 3.73 gears...this tire/rim size is as big as I would go with these gears. Anything else is going to be too heavy IMO. I'm a pretty conservative driver and I am getting about 14.6mph in town. Im about to order the flashpaq and see how it helps.

What tires are you thinking about?

Mine are a little bit bigger than what you are asking to see however they measure out to 33.4. I have a 3" TF lift with 325/60R18 on 18x9 XD Monster rims. I also have the Bilstein 5100 shocks. Love it!!

What tires are you thinking about?
Is that stock suspension or do you have a leveling kit on there?

275/70 BFG AT/KO on the stock 18s. Have since gone 35s and 16s though. 18s are too damn expensive...

Good info thanks! I'm leaning toward the Duratracs for the reviews and the weight. Pretty light compared to others. Trail Grapplers are the only other ones I think I would consider. They are a good looking tire, nice set up by the way, looks good

Are you running a 6spd or AT? Notice any difference in performance?
