Default Pinch Seam

I am currently trimming my rubi rails, and once I'm done I was going to tackle trimming my pinch seam. After taking the rails off I looked at my pinch seam, and I see it but I questioning how much and at what angle I should be trimming it. It looks like if I trim too far back the two pieces of body metal diverge and create a cavity, and I wouldn't want to cut into that.

Any body have any pictures or a good explanation of how much to take off?

Used a cut off wheel and aimed for the outside part of the dimple. Once cut I used a grinder and that did a decent job on of joining the two pieces to look like one.

I cut through the cavity. It's foam filled. I then applied epoxy to it in 3 phases.

Thanks for the quick replys guys.

I've cut through one of the rubi rails, and took a break for dinner. At this pace it might be tomorrow before I'm trimming those pinch seams.

I was planning on using a cut off tool. JayhawkJeep, if you could do it again would you use a cut off wheel, or did you find it was hard to get a good angle on the metal with the tire in the way?

Some have trimmed off more than me, I just didn't want to over do it.

How much does a person need to trim to stuff 37s into the wheel well?
