Default Pinion angle / gear lube?

After installing my rear adjustable arms and adjusting my pinion angle to line up with the TC output, I had to cut off my spring perches and relocate them back under the springs and add some more length to my brake lines I began to wonder if I now needed to add more gear oil to the differential now that the housing is tilted up so much. any thoughts /opinions will be appreciated.

First, the disclaimer: I'm not a differential guy, or even a professional mechanic.

I think you're fine if you have the OEM spec'd amount of diff fluid in it. I assume it was filled before you tilted the diff. I don't know how you'll get it full the next time since the fill hole is pointed more toward the ground now. Stand the Jeep on its nose?

Depending on the degree of tilt, it is possible that you have moved the pinion up enough to prevent proper lubrication of the pinion bearing. Look at the level hole and imagine the fluid level running towards the front. If the pinion looks much higher than the imaginary line, I'd add some extra gear lube. Jack up the back to allow for more fill.
