Has anyone ever tried plasti coating flares, if so how were the results?

I'm thinking about doing the same.. maybe use bed liner or something.. I just wanna know how to get them off without breaking anything

I Plasti dipped my Sahara flares about a month ago. Very easy to do and they look factory
I left my flares on when I did mine

Oh okay, good point... how about cleaning them then... Mine are starting to get a little faded.. and I want to make look new again..

Plasti dipping does not make them more rigid. Plasti dip is more of a nylon rubber than plastic. If you have ever used Plasti dip, you know that its not actually pastic. It's completely pliable and the elasticity it's amazing. And it will peel off without causing damage, when your ready to remove it

Try Mother's Back to Black. Works like a charm. Downside: You just have to reapply every few months.

That looks awesome! I have a silver Sahara that I've been thinking about doing this to. Can you give me some pointers on what you did? Any problems you had. I'm going to do my wheels, take the silver covers off the bumpers do the badges and so forth. Thanks in advance!

After I chopped my stock fenders I plastidipped them. They look like new and it gave the chopped fender a better look.
