Either way, I would test any product on the material around the edge of the side window panels and see how it holds up before going to down.
I used flex seal on my skid plates... So far so good. Hit the whole under carriage. That's after sanding and priming.

I just can't see it bonding properly.. Would definitely come off. Its OP's $ though, good luck!
