I agree I have bushwackers and there actually $450 now but there's still no way in hell I would pay that for fenders...I got mine used at a fraction of the cost. And I wasn't saying stock cut fenders are not acceptable...I had stock cut fenders for a long time, I was just saying they don't look near as good as bushwackers.

This was my point of DIY vs off the shelf. There was a time when I didn't know how to change diff fluid, cut fenders, or install a lift. But that's the point of the jeep community, to learn together. I would be more than glad send you some pics and advice on how to cut some flares to however you like them. As far as painting them, that's not my cup of tea, but to each their own. Keep on jeepin on

I cut my fenders and applied door trim to the edges in order to clean them up. I followed videos I found on youtube and somewhat merged designs and aspects of various ones. Anyhow, I'll try to upload some pics later today. I was apprehensive about cutting my Jeep up, but it was well worth it and not difficult at all if you take your time and prep well. It is an easy project actually.

These are before I cleaned and sprayed the fender wells flat black. I would take pics now, but it's pouring down rain.

I haven't painted mine but did add a side marker that is the same as the Bushwacker side marker. I like them pretty well.

The sidemarker pic was taken before I trimmed them up to where they are now.
