Has anyone tried leaving a portion of the wheel without the plastidip? I am thinking about making a design or just bars on the outside to distinguish between the wheel and tire. Or, taping the sides of the rims and leaving them.

I don't have time to try it till next week. Would it be better to tape the design and then pull the tape or just cut off the plastidip with an exacto knife?

Let me know if the plastidip can hold up after being cut.
