Default Please double check this wheel / tire combo

Hopefully, I'll be placing an order for wheels / tires over the next couple of days. I've been back and forth 100 times over what I wanted to do over the past few months, and I think I've finally made up my mind. Just looking for confirmation that I shouldn't have any fit / rubbing issues with this set up.

Jeep is an '08 JKU with Teraflex leveling kit and 18/59 springs.

Wheels I'm looking at are Method Race Standards in 16x8, 0mm offset, 4.5" backspacing

For tires, I'm looking at BFG AT KO in 295/75-16

I know there are plenty of people who don't like the BFG ATs, but I've run them before and have been very happy with them. My Jeep unfortunately spends 99% of it's life on road, so I can't justify a mud terrain just for the looks. Any time I am offroad is pretty much limited to the beach. I also don't want to regear, so I don't have any plans on going bigger than a 33" tire.

Anyone see any problems in my future with this set up?

Looks like you've done your research. That's a great looking build list for your Jeep. Everything should work great and fit great together. I have ran the BFG AT on a few of my Jeeps and I was really happy with them. They rode good and they lasted for ever on the street. Since you'll be doing a good bit of off roading on the beach, you'll want a more closed patters of an A/T tire over a mud tire anyway.

I hope this helps!

If you get these be sure to post pics of them. Haven't seen a lot of methods in 16". Been thinking about the also.

Thanks for the input...much appreciated. It's nice to have a couple of confirmations before placing a $2k order.

I'll post pics when I get them. BTW - I am going to get the machined finish. Never been a real big fan of black wheels.

I had BFG on two Jeeps. Maybe they don't look like it, but they are very capable AT tires.

One night, in torrential rain, I drove right into a sudden puddle on the road, about 60~90 ft long and 4~6" deep. Got into it at about 45 mph.
I expected the Jeep to "float", to loose steering control. It continued through the water like it was dry. The huge splash was in complete dissonance with the tires grab.
