Im looking at getting a roof rack but didnt want one that requires putting holes in my hard top. Also wanted one I can take off when not overlanding. I saw this jeep in my area and thought it was something worth looking into but, didnt see a name anywhere. so if anyone has an idea please let me know, thx! NOtice the metal tie down strap attached to the hard top.

Edit: I found it! It's a surco roof rack!

 

not sure i would want any load on the front panels with the mounting they use, also have to consider the pull of wind drag once the rack is loaded.
the rear straps might work..but i have to ask what they found in testing that required the additional straps????
what's the rated load weight of the rack?
have you checked out gobi racks?
