Please take a look at these lugnuts
Please let me know if you think these lug nuts will hold up. Currently have about 3000 miles on them. I got them because when I installed my lift, I realized after the fact that the OEM lock would not fit with the AEV wheels, so I picked up a set of these at the local auto store. They are 3/4 inch wide, the stockers are obviously a little wider. One thing to note, is that the bevel in the AEV wheel is pretty small, and these contact about 90% of the bevel it appears. These lug nuts are open ended. Any possible way they would pull through, I find it unlikely, but it seems anything is possible.

Those are commonly referred to as "tuner lugs". Used all the time in the street performance scene. Many aftermarket wheels require them. There's plenty of guys running 400+ whp on 18-20" rims out there using those. I wouldn't think twice about using them.
I've used them before on cars. Never an issue.
Your call.
If you're worried about quality, you may want to invest in a better set.
Summit racing carries good ones.

Physics plays very different role I would guess.
I would look to the wheel mfr for hardware then...

I run similar ones on my Formula, and the side loading on that is a heck of a lot higher on high speed cornering then the jeep will ever see.

Look at the first post! Clearly not the same as the tuner lugs pictured that you are commenting on. Those which you are commenting on clearly only differ in the drive size type rather than those which are being discussed on this thread posted in the first post. Look at the seat area compared to the pictured tuner lugs. Quite a difference I am sure you will agree.
